FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR - MARCO ANTONIO MAYCOTTE (MAA, ARB)

Marco Antonio Maycotte (29) is a Mexican qualified architect in the UK with 7+ years experience with an additional background abroad (mainly in Denmark, USA, and Mexico). He obtained a Master’s at the Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark. There he graduated as laureate of the CEBRA Prize Award for best Masters Thesis/dissertation. Marco also holds a Bachelor's of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder where he currently leads the alumni chapter in London. He founded LOCØ in 2020 after co-founding Maycotte + Coulson a couple of years before, around their acclaimed project BitPark (Danish Design Award Finalist 2020, and German Design Awards nominee), which was exhibited at the C40 World Mayor's Summit in Copenhagen. Additionally he continues to challenge himself working at world renown firm, BIG - BJARKE INGELS GROUP in London.
